This 40 year old woman came to Dr. Geldner with a history of two prior breast augmentations. Her first was nearly 20 years ago, above the muscle, type unknown. This was changed 9 years ago by switching to Allergan style 468 textured implants 350 cc placed above the muscle. As the years went on, the look deteriorated and demonstrated the small amount of native breast tissue she had. She wanted smaller areolas and a more natural look. We removed the implants through her old periareolar incisions, created a neo-sub-muscular space and redraped the skin with tailor tacking in a vertical mastopexy technique.
