Complex Breast Augmentation #23333

This 58 year old woman came to me with severe capsular contracture 33 years after her original submuscular breast augmentation.  These were thin walled first generation implants with dacron patches and both of them were broken.  She also gained a few pounds since her original surgery and these small implants were not large enough for her body.  After much preoperative sizing, she elected to go quite a bit larger.  We removed her original implant residue, performed complete capsulectomies and replaced them with subpectoral placement of Smooth 700cc Mentor gel implants.
