biplanar subglandular with a vertical mastopexy

Many years ago, this patient presented to me wiyh a history of having subglandular implants McGhan style 468 which were overfilled. She didn't like the outcome and asked to to repair her breasts. We replaced the implants with Allergan Natrelle implants style 15-339 and positioned them in a biplanar subglandular position along with a vertical mastopexy. She looked better but experienced some botttoming out. She also felt that they were still too big. So, we performed a transverse skin excision of skin (essentially changing a vertical lift to an anchor lift) along with a capsulorrhaphy to toghten the pocket and downsized the implants with Allergen SSLP-235 implants. Her recovery was uneventful and she is pleased with her result.
