Eyelid Lift For Men: Patient 1
This gentleman came to me wanting to improve the appearance of his eyes. He looked angry. Careful examination showed a few issues. His brows were low, Though a familial trait, this would not improve with eyelid surgery alone. In fact, an upper eyelid procedure would reflexively lower his brow position. His upper eyelids were excessive as was some of the periorbital fat. His lower eyelids were somewhat full and he had a notable tear trough deformity. We performed an endoscopic brow lift for a few millimeters lift. We reduced the muscles that create frown lines. His upper eyelids were improved and the lower eyelids were helped with a conservative skin resection, fat transposition, and orbicularis suspension. In the end, he looked like himself, but the negative physical traits were gone. This is an excellent example of combining techniques to create a subtle but effective aesthetic outcome.
