Case Notes
This patient wanted to improve the appearance of her breasts. She felt that they were too low and lacked superior fullness. Mastopexy would likely not add fullness to the superior aspect of her breast, so small implants were suggested. She also had asymmetry in terms of volume. We chose the volume with the aid of sizers and further planned the operation using the Vectra photographic simulator. A vertical mastopexy would likely result in long breasts, so a narrow transverse excision of skin was used. Implants were placed through the mastopexy incisions using Allergan Anspira SRLP implants to provide volume and adequate width. The right side volume was 250 cc; the left side was 205 cc.
